What is the real reason for high fever and how to prevent
Lychee can be the reason on an empty stomach
During the research, Jacob John and Arun Shah searched the records in 2012 and found that most of the children suffering from hay fever have epileptic seizures between 6 and 7 in the morning and they fall prey to this disease. The work of plucking starts between 4 and 5 in the morning to reach the litchi to the market and the poor laborers and their children are the ones who do not get enough food at night. When the children reach the litchi fields along with the laborers’ parents, they eat them while plucking litchis to fill their stomachs. When malnourished and empty stomach children eat litchi, they become vulnerable to acute encephalitis syndrome.
symptoms of hay fever
Epilepsy-like tremors occur as soon as Chamki comes in the grip of fever and hence this disease has been named Chamki. Apart from this, fainting, headache, high fever, body ache, nausea and vomiting, excessive fatigue, severe back pain, feeling very weak, difficulty in walking and paralysis are the symptoms of fever.
causes of high fever
Do not let children eat litchi on an empty stomach, especially malnourished children. Litchi contains hypoglycin A and methylenecyclopropylglycine, which significantly reduce the level of glucose in the blood of malnourished children. These components of litchi inhibit beta-oxidation in the body, which leads to hypoglycemia (lowering of blood glucose) and also increases the amount of fatty acids in the blood. Since the glucose storage in the liver of children is less, due to which sufficient amount of glucose does not reach the brain and the brain gets seriously affected. This starts affecting the child’s brain and children become victims of brain fever which causes their death.
Many experts also believe that children eat litchis without washing their teeth, due to which deadly insecticides (endosulfon etc.) enter their body and it becomes very fatal for their malnourished body. That’s why litchi should be eaten after washing it and removing its peel from hands. This type of disease was first detected in the West Indies by consuming ‘Aeki’ fruit like Litchi.
