Wedding procession’s car collides with a tree, three killed

Amethi: An accident took place in Amethi district. The car going back to Rae Bareli from the wedding procession went out of control near the petrol pump between Khajuri and Tikriya and hit a tree standing on the other side of the road. Three people traveling in the car died in the incident while three others were seriously injured. The police have taken possession of the dead bodies and started the post-mortem process. The doctors of the district hospital have referred the injured to AIIMS Rae Bareli.
Last Tuesday evening, the marriage procession came to Amethi from Paharpur of Maharajganj police station area of Rae Bareli district. At around 2 o’clock in the night, some wedding guests were going back to Rae Bareli in a car. On the way, she lost control near Tikariya petrol pump on Amethi Gauriganj road and collided with a tree situated on the right side of the road. The accident was so severe that the car was blown to pieces. Police reached the spot after receiving information about the incident and took 6 people to the district hospital. Where the doctor declared tax driver 55 year old Alok Singh son of Gopal Singh resident of Paharpur Maharajganj, 45 year old Santosh Singh son of Shri Bahadur Singh resident of Paharpur and 30 year old Deepa Singh wife of Anil Singh resident of Rampur police station Shahganj Jaunpur dead.
