Weather changed in Delhi, heavy rain in the morning
Delhi. The weekend for the people of the capital Delhi started at 4 am today with heavy rain in many areas. The weather has changed once again due to rain and strong wind in many areas of NCR on Saturday morning. Besides, a reduction in the level of pollution has also been recorded. Amid snowfall in the mountains, the rain in the plains including Delhi-NCR has further increased the cold. Till Friday, there was bright sunshine during the day, whereas after the rain on Saturday, it remained cloudy throughout the day. The wind blowing at a speed of 30 kilometers per hour once again gave people a feeling of coolness. Due to this change, the maximum temperature of Delhi has seen a drop of more than 3 degrees. Experts believe that the feeling of coolness will continue for the next three to four days.
According to the Meteorological Department, light rain occurred in most areas of Delhi on Saturday morning. Safdarjung recorded 0.8 mm rainfall. In Delhi, maximum rainfall of 5 mm occurred in Rajghat, while 3.5 mm of rainfall occurred in Mungeshpur. There is a possibility of drizzle in some areas of Delhi once again on Sunday morning. On Sunday, the maximum temperature is expected to be around 26 degrees, while the minimum temperature is expected to be around 15 degrees.
