We will win more than 100 seats in Kerala: Congress alliance

Kerala: Leader of the Opposition in the Kerala Assembly and Congress candidate V.T. Satheesan has stated that the United Democratic Front alliance will win more than 100 seats in the Kerala Assembly elections.
Voting is underway for 140 seats in Kerala. There is a three-way contest between the Left Democratic Front, the United Democratic Front, and the National Democratic Alliance. 883 candidates are contesting the election. There are 27.1 million voters. 30,471 polling stations have been set up. People are waiting in long lines to cast their votes at all polling stations.
Seating, drinking water, and restroom facilities have been provided at polling stations to combat the heat.
Meanwhile, V.D. Satheesan, contesting from the Paravur Assembly constituency on a Congress ticket, cast his vote at the polling booth set up at Kesari Government Science and Arts College. Afterward, V.D. Satishan spoke to reporters and said:
“As promised during the campaign, the United Democratic Front will win more than 100 seats. Those who were once hesitant to give us even a small majority have now changed their minds. Support has increased significantly.”
He said, “I have visited different parts of Kerala four times in the last three months; I have a clear understanding of the mood of the people. There is no doubt that we will win.”
