We will send them to jail within two months of coming to power: YS Jagan

Amaravati: YSRCP chief and former CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has warned that the coalition government that is going to privatize medical colleges in AP will be given a befitting reply as soon as it comes to power. He made it clear that those who take responsibility for the management of medical colleges will be sent to jail within two months.

Copies of the one crore signature collection organized by the YSRCP against the privatization of medical colleges have reached Tadepalli. A total of one crore 4 lakh 11,136 signature copies opposing Babu’s decision will be submitted to the Governor at the Lok Bhavan on Thursday evening. Jagan spoke at a key party meeting held on this occasion.

He said that privatizing medical colleges, which are very useful for the poor and middle class people, is atrocious. He expressed concern that free medical treatment will not be available. He said that privatization is a big mistake and that an affidavit will be filed in court in this regard. He criticized that it is absurd to hand over medical colleges to private individuals and state that the government will pay their salaries.

He alleged that the alliance is considering privatizing education, RTC and the police system. He said that during the YSRCP regime, unlike anywhere else in the world, welfare schemes were provided to the poor at the push of a button according to the calendar set. He said that not a single good thing has happened under the alliance government for two years. He alleged that along with the cancellation of existing schemes, all the systems have collapsed due to the Super Six.
