We will definitely get the mango symbol: Ramdas is confident.

Tamil Nadu: Pattali Makkal Katchi (PMK) founder Dr. S. Ramadoss expressed confidence that they would definitely get the mango election symbol.
An orientation program was held for three days starting January 31st at the party headquarters, Thailapuram Estate, near Tindivanam, Villupuram district, for party members who had submitted applications to contest the upcoming assembly elections on behalf of the PMK.
On the concluding day, Monday, a survey was conducted for people from 13 districts, including Salem, Dharmapuri, Krishnagiri, Namakkal, Erode, Coimbatore, Nilgiris, Thanjavur, and Mayiladuthurai.
Party founder Ramadoss participated in this and said:
“I have fought many battles for the welfare of the people, and whatever decision I take regarding the electoral alliance, the people of Tamil Nadu will accept it. I will definitely form a winning alliance. The case regarding who has the right to the PMK and the mango election symbol is pending in court. We will wait until the court’s decision. We will definitely get the mango election symbol. The electoral system followed in countries like New Zealand should be implemented in India as well. Voters should vote for the party, not the candidate. There should be no exchange of money,” Ramadoss said.
“We will win the mango symbol”: Salem West MLA I. Arul told reporters at the Thailapuram Estate premises:
“When more than one person claims the party and the election symbol, the New Delhi court had ordered that the matter can be decided by appealing to the civil court. In this regard, the detailed hearing of the case filed by the PMK against the Election Commission sending the letter allocating the election symbol will be held on February 24th at the Chennai High Court. Ramadoss, who founded the PMK party and has been leading it for 46 years, has submitted the original documents to the court. Therefore,” he said, “we will definitely win the mango election symbol.”
PMK Honorary President G.K. also participated in the program. Mani, Executive President Srikanthi, General Secretary M. Murali Shankar, Thanjavur District Secretary M.K. Stalin, Head Office Secretary M. Anbazhagan, and other administrators were present.
