Voter list revision in Bahadurgarh: Submit forms by July 24 to retain your name.

Under the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) campaign, there are indications of major changes this time in the voter list of Bahadurgarh Assembly Constituency. According to preliminary assessment, more than 40 thousand names may be reduced from the old voter list. Among these, the largest number are voters who have passed away or who have shifted to another place for a long time.

Currently more than 2.5 lakh voters are registered in Bahadurgarh assembly constituency. There are a total of 233 booths here. Forms have been distributed to all voters under SIR. After the return of the forms, their digitization work is going on at a fast pace, of which about 75 percent has been completed so far.

Officials say that the entire process is being done as per the prescribed rules. According to preliminary data, there are more than eight thousand such names in the voter list, whose respective voters have passed away. At the same time, more than 40 thousand names are being given of such people, who have either shifted to other areas or have not been residing here for a long time.

More than five thousand people have filled the online forms. Apart from this, even during the linkage process of records of some voters who have submitted the form, if the required documents or details are not found, then in such cases also the names may be removed from the list.

There will be a large scale amendment in the voter list
Officials say that the final situation will be clear only after the new voter list is published. After this, further process will be completed as per rules on adding and removing names of new voters. At present, it is believed that this time there will be a large scale amendment in the voter list.

The administration has appealed to the citizens to fully cooperate in the SIR campaign. The period for submission of forms has been extended. Voters who have not yet submitted the required documents and forms should complete the process within the stipulated time, so that the names of eligible voters remain in the list.

The period has been extended till 24th July
In Bahadurgarh, this work has been done to a greater extent in the villages compared to the city. Even in the city, there is more problem in those places where the working class lives. Officials say that the SIR process is going on completely as per the rules. All eligible voters should cooperate in the campaign by submitting the forms and necessary documents on time. Its duration has been extended till July 24. Earlier it was till 14th July.
