Volvo Cars appoints Fredrik Hansson as new CFO

World World: Volvo Cars has made another change in its management team by appointing Fredrik Hansson as the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). This appointment will come into effect immediately. Hansson, who was the company’s deputy CFO since 2023, will now take over as CFO. Earlier, Johan Ekdahl held this position since 2022, but now he has left the company.
This change has been made at a challenging time for the company, when Volvo Cars is deciding its direction amid market uncertainties and increasing fee pressures. Former CEO Hakan Samuelsson has been reappointed, who will lead the company for the next two years. Samuelsson said that “Fredrik’s deep knowledge of the company and understanding of the complexities of the industry will be valuable for the company.
