They are common people, but with some different feats. Kalinga TV Digital reporter Raja spoke to some such people. Here is a report.

There has been a big change in the politics of Odisha in recent times. Odisha got a new identity under the leadership of BJD supremo Naveen Patnaik for 24 years. Odisha has developed a lot in these 25 years after the 1999 super cyclone.

There was a time when no one recognized Odisha. However, now the state has made a place in the international scenario. Be it the Hockey World Cup or various international sports events or beneficial schemes, Chief Minister Naveen remained at the forefront. Odisha’s role under former Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik during disasters garnered praise worldwide. But now change has come. In 2024, the public has elected a new government. The unique but common people who came to Janata Maidan to watch the swearing-in ceremony were unique because some of them came here after traveling a long distance. Another person is a visually impaired person. According to the report, a person came on a bicycle from 50 km away to participate. Another person walked a distance of 60 km to see the swearing-in. Another person came with a bow and arrow in his hand. Another person brought a picture of Modi which he had made in 24 hours. It was also heart-warming that the visually impaired person came from such a long distance. He was accompanied by a woman who was guiding him to move ahead in the crowd. These people were eager to see PM Modi. They were also eager to see the new CM.
