Vishnudev government’s new paddy procurement policy gives new hope to farmers
The new paddy procurement policy of the Chhattisgarh government has given a new hope to the farmers by giving them the right value for their hard work. Sharing her experience, Mrs. Subso Rajwade, a farmer from Junapara Sardi, said that she had never imagined that one day 21 quintals of paddy would be purchased per acre in the state and the price would be Rs 3100 per quintal.
Responsibility of farming and government convenience
After the death of her husband Amar Sai Rajwade, Mrs. Subso, who took full responsibility of farming, reached the paddy procurement center to sell 53 quintals of paddy this year. She said, “The arrangement of porters and sacks is better in the paddy procurement center. The employees are cooperative, and no money is demanded. This gave us a chance to sell our crop without any hassle.”
The farmers will use the money properly
Regarding the amount received from paddy sale, she said, “I will use this money for farming work and will save some amount for the future of the children.” She described this policy as a big support for the farmers.
Farmer’s son honoured farmers
Subaso praised Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai and said, “The Chief Minister himself is a farmer. This is the reason why he understands our needs and problems. The steps taken under his leadership to ensure that farmers get the right price for paddy have brought a pleasant change in the lives of farmers.
Pleasant change in life due to right price
Smt. Subaso said, “The life of farmers is connected to farming. Getting the right purchase and right price reduces financial crisis and provides an opportunity to become self-reliant.” The paddy purchase policy in Chhattisgarh is not only becoming the basis of economic development, but is also bringing new light of trust and prosperity in the lives of farmers.
