Vinayak Chaturthi has great religious significance in Hindu religion. Chaturthi comes twice in a month. On this day devotees pray to Lord Ganesha to remove all the obstacles in life. It is said that those who observe this fast with utmost devotion and purity get relief from many difficulties of life. Along with this one attains happiness, prosperity, wealth, health and good fortune.
Vinayaka Chaturthi, 2024 puja method
Wake up in the morning, take bath and wear clean clothes.
Install the idol of Lord Ganesha on a wooden pedestal.
Clean the idol with Ganga water.
Apply kumkum tilak.
Offer a garland of yellow flowers.
Offer modak.
Light a lamp of desi ghee.
Invoke Lord Ganesha with Vedic mantras and worship as per the rituals.

Finally end the puja with Aarti.
Keep in mind that do not use Tulsi leaves in the worship of Lord Ganesha.
Do not use tamasic things in worship.
The devotees should break the fast with rituals the next morning.
