Villagers took possession of mountain machine, was doing illegal sand mining

Gariaband. Villagers have mobilized against illegal sand mining in Chhattisgarh’s Gariaband district. Hundreds of villagers reached the river on Sunday. After this, the villagers took possession of the chain mountain machine and raised slogans to stop sand mining. The whole matter pertains to village Pathri of Fingeshwar police station area.

Actually, the sand mafia in the district is illegally excavating and transporting sand indiscriminately. Sand mafia are excavating sand from places other than the approved area. In protest against this, a large number of villagers reached the river today and raised slogans to stop mining by taking Chain Mountain machine in their possession.
