Vijay executives meet in Vellore tomorrow: 4,900 people to attend

Tamil Nadu: THAVEKA leader Vijay’s executive meeting is scheduled for Monday in Agaramsery, Vellore district. 4,900 people are expected to attend the meeting.

After Salem, THAVEKA Thalaivar Vijay’s executive meeting is scheduled for Monday (February 23) in Agaramsery, Vellore district. Initially, it was planned as a public meeting with a possible attendance of 25,000 people, and arrangements were being made to level 33 acres of land in Agaramsery to accommodate this.

Superintendent of Police N.U. Sivaraman inspected the site where the meeting was to be held, and the police department issued a notice to THAVEKA containing 20 conditions, asking them to respond in writing. THAVEKA has responded.

In this situation, the public meeting was abruptly converted into an administrative meeting, and on Thursday it was announced that only 4,900 people would be allowed to attend, and they would be issued identity cards with QR codes.

Furthermore, since the meeting is scheduled to be held from 12 noon to 4 pm, on the instructions of the police department, canopies, seats, 50,000 water bottles, and 6,000-liter drinking water tanks are being installed at the meeting venue.

The party stated that 10 medical teams consisting of 30 doctors, 100 nurses, 100 medical assistants, and 15 ambulances will be on standby at the meeting venue, and 500 volunteers, including 50 women, will work in the field to ensure the meeting is conducted safely. Retired police sub-inspector Sabiullah provided safety training to these volunteers on Saturday.

Meanwhile, the police department has stated that 900 police personnel will be deployed for security during the Vijay management meeting. Furthermore, since the meeting venue in Agaramcherry is near the Chennai-Bangalore National Highway, uninterrupted traffic will be ensured on the national highway and service roads in the area. However, traffic will be diverted on the Agaramcherry-Pallikuppam Road.

Only those with identity cards will be allowed to attend the meeting, not others. Police have also stated that since Thaveka leader Vijay is traveling to Agaramcherry by road from Chennai, steps will be taken to ensure that anyone without an identity card cannot follow his vehicle.
