Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna’s grand reception at Taj Krishna

Entertainment: The wedding rites concluded today with a grand reception at Hotel Taj Krishna. Vijay Deverakonda is slightly ill, and the couple will take a few days off before returning to Kurnool to shoot for “Ranabali” from the 12th of this month.

The reception was attended by prominent figures from the Telugu film industry and politics. The wedding took place at a five-star property in Udaipur. Several events, including sangeet, haldi, and mehendi, were held, and the wedding was conducted in Telugu and Koduva styles.

Afterward, they hosted a banquet at Vijay’s home, and yesterday, they hosted a party for select fans. Today, they hosted a party for the Telugu media at FNCC in Hyderabad, and the reception was held at Hotel Taj Krishna.

At all events, they made the most lavish arrangements for the guests. Sources close to Vijay Deverakonda told us that they spent approximately ₹12 crore on these events and all other wedding expenses. This is one of the most expensive weddings in Tollywood in recent years.

There were reports that an OTT platform had offered ₹60 crore for the wedding rights, but the couple declined.
