Vigorous campaign of political leaders ends in Andhra Pradesh

Vijayawada: Leaders of ruling and opposition parties took Vijayawada city by storm with their campaign on Saturday, the last day of election campaigning in Andhra Pradesh as decided by the Election Commission of India (ECI).

Rallies, processions and public meetings were witnessed in East, Central and West assembly constituencies of Vijayawada in the city.
However, the high-octane campaign in the city as well as the state came to an end at 6 pm on Saturday.

In West constituency, YSRCP MLA candidate S.K. Asif along with YSRCP Vijayawada MP candidate Kesineni Srinivas (Nani) and Mayor Rayana Bhagya Lakshmi took out a massive road show from Nizam Gate. Amidst the crowd, the procession passed through Chittinagar Tunnel, Kummaripalem and the main thoroughfares of Church Center and ended at Panja Centre.
Similarly, TD-JSP-BJP alliance candidate Suzanna Choudhary ended the last phase of her election campaign on a high note along with TDP MP candidate Kesineni Shivanath (Chinni) and TD leader Vangaveeti Radha in the West Assembly constituency.

Sujana Choudhary started the last day of her election campaign from the BJP office and concluded it at KR Market via Kummaripalem, Vidyadharapuram and Chittinagar.
In the Central constituency, candidates from YSRCP, NDA alliance and India Bloc are Velampalli Srinivasa Rao, Bonda Uma and Chaudhary. Babu Rao is in a triangular contest. The trio ended their campaign with big rallies and door-to-door visits in the constituency.

Sitting MLA and State Planning Board Vice Chairman Malladi Vishnu and AP State Fibernet’s P. Gautam Reddy along with Central MLA candidate Velampalli Srinivas and MP candidate Kesineni Nani participated in a massive road show organized from Kandrika to Daba Kotlu center and appealed to the people to support the YSRCP. Appealed to vote for. To ensure continuity of welfare and development in the state.
Bonda Uma and Babu Rao held road shows and rallies in Governorpet and Arundelpet areas and met voters in the Central constituency.

YSRC East candidate Devineni Avinash campaigned in Sunnapubattila Centre, Machavaram and SRR College areas under the East constituency.
Gadde Ram Mohan Rao, who is the MLA candidate of the alliance, campaigned his “Praja Deevena” in the Moggalarajapuram area along with TDP, JSP and BJP cadres in large numbers along with the TD candidate.
