Veteran politician Sura Routray warns BJP in Naveen Patnaik arrest threat

Bhubaneswar: Veteran political leader Sura Routray has warned State BJP and CM Mohan Majhi in Naveen Patnaik arrest matter and said that the people of Odisha will not spare the party if any harm is meted out to the leader Of Opposition.

According to reports, senior leader Sura Routray has cornered the Mohan Majhi led government. He said that because Naveen demanded the arrest of the Governor’s son Lalit Kumar in ASO case, such kind of nuisance is created by BJP.

The veteran leader has further warned that in case any action is taken against the ex Odisha CM, Mohan Majhi and his ministers won’t be allowed to leave the House.

Besides, Sura also targeted the Modi government claiming that no substantial budget has been allocated for the development of Odisha in the Union Budget 2024 though the PM had made many promises during the Elections.

“While Odisha has been protesting against Polavaram for more than 24 years, but the Modi Government has given a lot of money for supporting Polavaram and make Chandrababu Naidu happy. In case Polavaram is completed, hundreds of villages will be submerged in Odisha’s Malkangiri district,” he said.

“However, Naveen is still protesting in this matter and we are with Naveen,” Sura Routray said as he signed off.
