Varanasi: Rules for VIP darshan become strict in Kashi Vishwanath Dham

Varanasi: Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple Trust has started strictly implementing ‘Sugam Darshan’ to prevent inappropriate use of the protocol system.

He has asked all department heads to inform their guests that now, anyone wanting VIP treatment to get darshan under the protocol will have to pay Rs 300 per visitor.

Division commissioner Kaushal Raj Sharma said: “The existing agreements have been made more stringent with effect from January 1 to avoid unfair use of the protocol system.

There is an order of priority to provide protocols and to avoid this compromise not only affects discipline and leads to disturbances but also leads to financial loss for the temple, i.e. people who are unable to buy entries for ‘Sugam Darshan’. Even those who were capable do not get admission. Able to worship. ,
