Vadodara: Two families fight over a minor issue, eight injured

Eight persons suffered minor injuries when two families quarreled over abusing in Chamundanagar near Gujarat Chemical Company, Nandesari, on the outskirts of Vadodara city. The police have started the process of arrest by registering a case against the eight accused on the complaint of both the parties.

Both sides filed complaints face to face

Vinod Chauhan, who lives in Chamundanagar next to Gujarat Chowkdi, has a business of buying and selling iron drums. He said in the complaint that Sanjay Chauhan’s wife Reena had spoken indecent language to my granddaughter. Due to which her father Shyamji Vaghela, her mother Manjula and her brother Bhavesh quarreled with us while going to reprimand Reena. The accused beat me, my wife and my daughter-in-law with sticks and injured them. On the other hand, the opposite party Shyamji Vaghela said in the complaint that Sanjay Chauhan, Vinod Chauhan, Vikram Chauhan and Kamla Chauhan had quarreled after coming to my house. During this, on refusing to abuse, they suddenly flared up and attacked us. In which me, my wife and my three daughters have suffered minor injuries.
