Unique traffic booth in Dhanbad, helmet shaped police booth will give message of road safety
Jharkhand: Dhanbad Police has launched a unique initiative to raise public awareness regarding road safety. A state-of-the-art traffic police booth, shaped like a helmet, has been installed near the ‘Gol Building’ in the Saraidhela police station area. This booth will not only help improve traffic management but also convey a message to the public about wearing helmets and adhering to road safety rules.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Prabhat Kumar inaugurated this special traffic booth on Saturday. Several senior police officials were present on the occasion, including City SP Ritvik Srivastava, Rural SP S. Mohammad Yaqub, and Traffic DSP Rohit Kumar Sao.
The helmet-shaped traffic booth has been specially designed to capture public attention and effectively communicate the message of road safety. According to police officials, this initiative aims to reduce road accidents and raise awareness about traffic regulations.
