The heights he gave to Gorakhpur Medical College while discharging his duties is in front of all of us. At that time, the efforts he made at his level as a sensitive doctor to save the lives of lakhs of children of eastern Uttar Pradesh are commendable, because at that time there was no money for medical college. He had made the children’s department of BRD Medical College very good with his money. When he was the head of the pediatrics department of BRD Medical College, it was considered the best department of the medical college.

CM Yogi said that Dr. YD Singh made a change in the lives of lakhs of children of Eastern Uttar Pradesh by making a change in the lives of lakhs of children of Eastern Uttar Pradesh and showed them a way to live. Thousands of people used to come everyday in eastern Uttar Pradesh to see him. Recommendations used to come to me to show them. There was no social worker like him in eastern Uttar Pradesh. When the BRD Medical College was closed, he used to look after the children at his home. Apart from this, he used to watch children for free every Saturday and Sunday in his Matri Bhoomi Basti. Often people forget their duty when they get a big responsibility. Understanding your responsibilities is the biggest need in today’s time. Addressing the Amrit Mahotsav year of Independence, Prime Minister Narendra Modi talked about Panch Prana, many of whose words were reflected in the personality of Dr. YD. During this, the Prime Minister had talked about building a developed India. If every citizen of the country discharges his duties with honesty, then it will not take long for India to become the biggest power in the world. For this, every citizen has to take a pledge of his work and responsibility because there is a power in the resolution, so the priests take a pledge from us at the time of worship.

He said that all these characteristics were reflected in the personality of Dr. YD Singh. He contributed in taking the Pediatrics Department of Gorkhupar BRD Medical College to new heights. As Principal, he contributed a lot in the development of the college. As a sensitive doctor, he contributed with full force to save the lives of the infants of Eastern Uttar Pradesh at that time when there were diseases like encephalitis.

The CM said that when he retired from there, he raised his voice for the development of the state through the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Council as a graduate representative. Continued working as a social worker. In his time, there was no doctor practicing like him in government and private hospitals in eastern Uttar Pradesh, but he did not boast of it. He used to contribute in all the programs with ease and decency.
