Two Men Arrested In Bulandshahr For Brutally Assaulting Muslim Laborer, Tying Him To A Tree

In a shocking incident that has sparked outrage, two individuals have been apprehended by the police in Uttar Pradesh’s Bulandshahr district. The arrests were made after the accused allegedly subjected a Muslim laborer, Sahil, to a horrific ordeal. According to reports, Sahil was tied to a tree, physically assaulted, had his head partially shaved, and was coerced into chanting religious slogans, as reported by NDTV.

The distressing incident came to light after a video, recorded by one of the three perpetrators involved, went viral, causing a political uproar. Asaduddin Owaisi, the Hyderabad Member of Parliament and leader of the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM), strongly criticized the actions of the Uttar Pradesh police. Owaisi shared the video and questioned the authorities’ response, emphasizing the need for justice and highlighting the challenges faced by those seeking redress for injustices.Surendra Nath Tiwari, the additional superintendent of police, acknowledged the video as evidence and confirmed that a first information report (FIR) had been registered against the accused at Kakod police station. The two arrested individuals have been identified as Gajendra, Saurabh, and Dhanni, according to sources within the police department.

Sahil’s father, Shakeel, expressed his anguish and alleged that his son was wrongfully incarcerated after the incident. Shockingly, Shakeel claimed that the police had urged him to seek a compromise with the accused and resorted to threats. Despite naming the perpetrators in their complaint, the family felt helpless and demanded justice, as they were being coerced to drop the charges.

Sahil’s mother, in her complaint, also revealed that the accused had confiscated his mobile phone and took away Rs. 1,500 in cash during the ordeal.
