Two arrested for firing

Karnal: The Karnal police have arrested two persons in connection with firing on a tour and travel agent on March 28. The accused have been identified as Amarnpreet Gill, a resident of Assandh, and Harshdeep, a resident of Ambala, said Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Pushpa Khatri. TNS

Kurukshetra: Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar visited Gurdwara Sachkhand Isher Darbar, Jurasi, in Kurukshetra’s Pehowa and paid tribute to Baba Maan Singh on Monday. Inspector held for graft

Hisar: The Anti Corruption Bureau, Karnal, has arrested Inspector Umed Singh, in-charge economic offence wing in Hansi, while accepting a bribe of Rs one lakh in Hisar today. A case has been registered at the ACB police station Hisar.
