Twitter launches new 5,000 per month API tier for startups

New Delhi (IANS) | Elon Musk-run Twitter has launched a new API (application programming interface) tier called Twitter API Pro for startups that costs $5,000 a month. With the tier, developers will be able to receive one million tweets per month, post 300,000 tweets per month, and have access to the search end point.

Today we’re launching our new access tier, Twitter API Pro, a Twitter dev tweeted on Thursday.

That said, experiment, build, and expand your business with up to 1 million tweets per month, including our powerful real-time filtered/streamed and full archive search endpoints.

In March, Twitter launched its new paid API platform with free, basic and enterprise access tiers.

These three tiers include a basic ‘free’ tier primarily for content posting bots, a $100 per month ‘enterprise’ tier and an expensive ‘enterprise’ tier.
