TVS driver arrested with liquor in Kurud

Dhamtari. Clear instructions have been given to all the in-charges to take legal action by running a special campaign against the persons involved in anti-social activities and to effectively curb their activities. Kurud Police, during patrolling, got information from an informer that a person was taking a white TVS-Sports motorcycle to sell liquor illegally. A raid was conducted by Kurud police station in-charge.

Total 7.560 bulk liters worth Rs 3200/- and used TVS. Sports no. CG 05 AE 7681 Motorcycle worth Rs 15000/- and Jumla worth Rs 18200/- were seized in front of witnesses and legal action was taken against the accused under Section 34 (2) of the Excise Act.
