Tumakuru: Car collides with parked lorry; three people die on the spot.

Karnataka: A horrific road accident occurred on National Highway 48 near Nelahal in Tumkur taluk on Monday morning, killing three people on the spot. The accident happened when a car rammed into a parked lorry from behind. All the deceased were residents of Bengaluru.
Three people traveling in a Maruti Ertiga died instantly in the accident. One person sustained serious injuries, and two others suffered minor injuries. The injured have been admitted to Tumkur District Hospital for treatment. The deceased were returning to Bengaluru today after a trip to Gokarna, Murudeshwar, and Udupi. The accident occurred when a speeding car rear-ended a parked lorry on National Highway 48, completely wrecking the car. Upon receiving information about the accident, Tumkur District Superintendent of Police Ashok KV and a team from the Koratagere police station rushed to the spot and conducted an investigation. The bodies have been sent to the mortuary at Tumkur District Hospital.
