Tulsi worship and cow service will keep diseases away

According to religious scriptures, many such measures have been mentioned, by adopting which a person can lead a simple and easy life. Among them, Tulsi worship and cow service are two such auspicious deeds, the house where they are done daily, diseases never knock on their door and many benefits are received.
According to ‘Skanda Purana’, the Yamadoots do not enter the house where there is a Tulsi garden (and worship is done daily).
It comes in ‘Padma Purana’ that ‘by worshiping, chanting, meditating, planting and wearing Tulsi in Kaliyuga, it burns the sins and provides heaven and salvation.’

‘One who drinks water with basil leaves at the time of death, becomes free from all sins and goes to the world of Vishnu.’ (Brahmavivarta Purana, Prakriti Khand: 21.43)
‘The one who wants to eradicate poverty and get happiness, he should do 108 parikramas of the Tulsi plant with pure feelings and devotion.’
