Truck driver tramples girl riding moped, painful death

Balodabazar. A girl riding an Activa died after being hit by a truck in Risda village adjacent to the district headquarters. After the incident, angry villagers blocked the road for hours. Seeing the anger of the villagers, the situation was controlled by calling the police team including the police station in-charge from four police stations of the district. The demand of the villagers is that the area is surrounded by cement plants and due to the presence of only one road, accidents keep happening every day and the villagers are facing death, due to which there is a need for a bypass road. Let us tell you that out of 7 cement plants in the district, the traffic pressure has increased due to the presence of five cement plants on Balodabazar Risda to Simga Road.

Due to which villagers are dying in accidents every day. The villagers are continuously demanding to build a road outside the village. But the administration is not paying attention. In fact, during the meeting in village Purena Khapri, former Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel had announced the construction of the bypass road but it has not been completed. The place where this accident took place is the village of Revenue Minister Tankaram Verma. Now it remains to be seen what action the Minister takes on this. Tehsildar Rajriptel, who reached the incident, said that the estimate for the construction of the road has been sent to the state government by the Public Works Department for approval and the construction will start as soon as it is approved. He immediately told the villagers to make speed breakers within a week. The villagers calmed down.
