Tripura: IT Minister inaugurates Children’s Science Exhibition

Information Technology Minister Pranajit Singha Roy said this while inaugurating the Gomti district-based Children’s Science Exhibition at Ramesh English Medium Higher Secondary School, Udaipur on Sunday.

In the programme, he said, “Such science exhibitions play an important role in the expression of science-related ideas of students.

Science has great importance for building Digital India and Digital Tripura. The country’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi has emphasized on the promotion and expansion of science.

Narayan Choudhary, an alumnus of the school. On this occasion, Pradeep Kumar Chakraborty, acting teacher of Ramesh English Medium Higher Secondary School, gave the welcome speech. Acting Gomti District Education Officer Jhuma Deb presided over the function.

It is noteworthy that students from 47 schools of Gomti district participated with 67 models in the science exhibition.
