Chief Minister Mr. Baghel today felicitated the students who got place in class 10th and 12th merit list in the annual examination of Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education for the year 2023 under Swami Atmanand Medhavi Chhatra Protsahan Yojana. In the ceremony, all the meritorious students were given an incentive amount of Rs 1.5 lakh each. Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel transferred the incentive amount through RTGS to the bank accounts of meritorious students at the function. Last year in 2022, joy riding was done to the toppers of the board exams. This year, along with 78 toppers of board exams, five toppers each of high school and high secondary exams from special backward tribes were also given joy riding.

The Chief Minister said that in order to encourage the economically backward and weaker sections towards education in the state, the students of the special backward tribes – Abujhmadia, Baiga, Birhor, Kamar and Pahadi Korwa were felicitated who secured first position in high school and higher secondary. going. All these students are also being given an incentive amount of Rs 1.5 lakh each.

Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel told the children that you have achieved success in making a place in the merit list with your hard work and dedication. The Chief Minister said that it is a matter of happiness that most of the students in the merit list are from rural areas of Chhattisgarh’s remote areas. He said that for the convenience of the children, e-libraries have been started in remote districts like Sukma, Kanker. The Chief Minister said that the innovations made in Chhattisgarh in the field of education during the Corona period were discussed across the country.

Under the Swami Atmanand Medhavi Chhatra Protsahan Yojana, out of 78 students who got place in the merit list of class 10th and 12th examination of Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education for the year 2023, 48 students of class 10th and 30 students of class 12th are included. . This year, 11 students of high school and 8 students of higher secondary of Swami Atmanand Vidyalaya have secured place in the merit list. The welcome address was given by Dr. S.
