Trailer driver could not control speed, major accident happened in residential area

Pendra. Once again the havoc of speed was seen in Pendra. On Saturday morning, a speeding trailer tractor loaded with coal lost control and overturned on the roadside. Two houses also got affected by this. Both the families have suffered huge losses.

The incident took place on Pendra Ratanpur road. A trailer filled with coal overturned after entering a roadside house on the main road of Amarpur village. Both houses have been damaged in the accident. Due to the collapse of the wall of the house, the bike and cycle kept inside the boundary were completely damaged. According to the family members, the trailer was coming at a very high speed. Because of this the driver could not control it and it overturned. If the trailer had moved forward some distance after overturning, it would have engulfed the people sleeping next to the house. The victims told that both the driver and the helper were drunk.

Immediately after the accident, the family members called dial 112 and complained about the matter. On the complaint of the family members, the police has started investigating the matter. The trailer driver and cleaner have been detained. they are being interrogated.
