Tourist fair held in jungle safari
Raipur. As soon as the harsh winter season arrives in Chhattisgarh, there is a crowd of 3 to 4 thousand tourists in the jungle safari every day. At this time, there is a long queue of tourists to see tigers, peacocks, deer, chital and many other wild animals in the jungle safari.
Forester Shankar Lal Yadav and Santosh Kosare of the jungle safari said that in the winter days, along with children, elderly people also come to enjoy the jungle safari from other districts of Chhattisgarh. Forester Shankarlal Yadav of Jungle Safari told that the tourists who come to visit Jungle Safari are taken on a bus from the main gate for a tour of Jungle Safari and dropped off at the zoo and buses have been arranged near the zoo for the tourists returning after visiting the zoo. Along with this, tourists are also enjoying the boat ride a lot. Keeping in view the winter holidays, a lot of arrangements for boats have also been made. Along with the tourists, a green shed has been made for the deer to protect them from the cold in the Jungle Safari and heaters have been installed for the tigers and leopards so that the stones and walls remain warm from inside due to which the temperature remains under control.
It is a memorable experience for the tourists to see these rare and beautiful animals. The increasing number of tigers in the Jungle Safari has made this area a center of attraction for wildlife lovers. Along with this, the popularity of jungle safari increases even more in this cold season. Tourists from far and wide come here to visit the wildlife.
The thrill of jungle safari and the natural life of wildlife shows that the forest of Chhattisgarh has now become a major place in terms of tourism. Forest officer S.L. Yadav said that the children coming from school are not only told about the wild animals by the safari guide, but painting and essay competitions are also organized.
