TNWS discusses issues, demands solution
A meeting of Trikuta Nagar Welfare Society (TNWS) was held here today under the chairmanship of Rajinder Parshad Kakkar, president TNWS.
TNWS members while speaking in the meeting said that laying of tiles under Smart City Project has reduced the width of road which affects free flow of traffic in Trikuta Nagar Colony. They said that there is lack of coordination between different departments and demanded that before fixing tiles and blacktopping roads, the concerned authorities should take into confidence all the stake holders and locals of that area.
TNWS members also said that wide footpaths opposite of Railway Station Jammu exit gate is mostly used by vendors which creates nuisance and hurdles in free flow of traffic for general public.
They said that the retaining wall at Nallah in sector 3 from bridge to BJP office has been washed away and damaged and the same should be repaired as there is threat to all life and property located on the bank of Nallah in main market of Trikuta Nagar.
“Government should issue identity cards for free medical services, concession on all traveling services like railway, air travels etc for senior citizens and retired official,” they maintained. They demanded that their issues should be resolved soon.
The meeting was attended by Upendra Zadoo, Ashok Gupta, Davinder Singh Khorana, . Amarjeet Singh, Vijay Gupta, N.K Bali, S.N Kaul and Varinder Kumar Suri besides others.
