Tirupati Express Narrowly Avoided A Major Accident Staff Extinguished The Fire

Tirupati: A major accident was averted in the Tirupati Express train that left Puri in Odisha for Tirupati. On Thursday morning, a fire suddenly broke out in the B5 coach of the express train between Tuni-Annavaram railway stations in Kakinada district. Due to this, the passengers were in a state of panic.
An electrical short circuit occurred at the panel board in the bogie, causing the blankets to catch fire and smoke to spread throughout the bogie. The railway staff, who noticed the accident, stopped the train and extinguished the fire using fire extinguishers.
The train was later moved to Rajahmundry station, where railway technical staff and senior railway officials inspected the accident-hit coach. After inspecting the train, it was sent to Tirupati.
