Raipur. The presence of the tiger has been confirmed in the Sitanadi-Udanti Sanctuary on Sunday night. The footprints of the tiger were already found, but despite having 100 trap cameras, its picture was not being found. Finally, after 8 days of hard work, the picture of the tiger has been captured on camera in Arsiknhar Reserve, which was of Saturday night. After this, on Sunday evening also, the picture of the tiger hunting a bull was captured on camera.
DFO of Sitanadi-Udanti Tiger Reserve, Varun Jain said that the presence of the tiger has been confirmed after 8 days. Now it is being ascertained from which state the tiger has come. For this, pictures are being sent to the Wildlife Institute of India in Dehradun. Let us tell you, no traces of the tiger were found in the Tiger Reserve for the last two and a half years. But due to getting a favorable environment, now many other wild animals including tigers have also started coming here. Earlier it reached here from Madhya Pradesh in 2019 and from Telangana via Maharashtra in October 2022. Now, two and a half years later, in 2025, the presence of the tiger has returned again.
