Three members of a family drown in Gujarat flood

Bhavnagar (IANS). Three people of a family were killed and two others were rescued after their car got stuck in gushing water in Kamrol village of Gujarat’s Bhavnagar district. An official gave this information on Monday.

The victims, who hail from Pavathi village in Talaja taluka, include two women and a child.

Prompt action was taken by the police personnel and the local people, who took the injured to the nearest hospital. Three could not be saved even after a lot of effort.

The bodies were sent to the government hospital in Talaja for postmortem.
