Three arrested with 10 lakh cash from Raipur, caught in toll naka

Raipur. Keeping in view the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, as per the instructions of Senior Superintendent of Police Santosh Kumar Singh, a joint team of Anti-Crime and Cyber Unit and Thana Mandir Hasaud police conducted a surprise checking of vehicles near the toll naka located under Thana Mandir Hasaud area. During checking of four-wheeler number CG/08/AC/6699, it was found that lakhs of rupees in cash were kept in the bag. On which when the team members interrogated the persons in the vehicle, the persons revealed their names to be Swaroop Singh, Pratham Agarwal and Akash Agarwal resident of Saraipali Mahasamund. On inquiring about lakhs of rupees in cash and demanding valid documents, the team members were being continuously misled by not presenting any kind of document. On which the team members kept a total of Rs. 10 with the three persons. Cash amount of Rs lakh has been registered under section 102 J.F. Under this, the police station has been seized in Mandir Hasaud. 01. Swaroop Singh, father Manjeet Singh, age 35 years, resident of Oriyapara police station Saraipali Mahasamund. 02. Pratham Agarwal, father Ambresh Agarwal, age 30 years, resident of Agrasen Chowk, Saraipali. 03. Akash Aggarwal Father Late. Surman Aggarwal age 37 years resident of Jhilmila Saraipali.
