Bhopal: 16 lakh voters in Madhya Pradesh are going to cast their votes in the Lok Sabha elections for the first time. Both the political parties are trying their best to attract this vote bank towards themselves. This time the total number of voters has increased by 50 lakh. Total voters are 5 crore 63 lakh 40,064, of which males are 2 crore 89 lakh and females are 2 crore 73 lakh 87122. Apart from this, the total number of service voters is 75,246. 16 lakh 2,647 voters are going to cast their vote for the first time. The number of new voters in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections was more than 13 lakh. Both BJP and Congress have launched campaigns to directly contact and communicate with new voters in the state. While BJP is giving details of changing India and India’s strong position in the world, Congress is continuously raising issues like unemployment and inflation. Overall, both the political parties are leaving no stone unturned to woo the new voters. At the same time, there are about 1.5 crore voters aged between 30 to 39 years. There are 1 crore 10 lakh voters in the age group of 40 to 49 years, while there are more than 78 lakh voters in the age group of 50 to 59 years. Apart from this, there are 45 lakh voters in the age group of 60 to 69 years and about 21 lakh voters in the age group of 70 to 79 years. At the same time, there are more than 7 lakh voters above 80 years of age.
