Thieves took away jewelry and cash from bank clerk’s house

Balod. 40,000 cash and 28,000 jewelery were stolen from the house of a private bank clerk in Ward 12, Ganjpara. Sudhanshu Yadav told that after locking Ganjpara’s house, he along with his family had gone to Durg Anjora to attend the marriage ceremony. When he reached home from there at 11 am on May 27, the lock of the door was broken.

When he went inside, the doors of all the three rooms were open. The cupboard door was also broken. The gold mangalsutra and cash 40 thousand kept there were missing. An offense under section 380, 457 has been registered against the unknown accused at Balod police station. A week ago, two lakh cash and one lakh jewelery were stolen from the house of Jashwinder Pal Saluja in Ganjpara. The accused has not been arrested in this case so far. Police is still scanning the CC footage. Apart from May, in August last year, 1 lakh 95 thousand rupees were stolen from Jain Auto Care Showroom located in Ganjpara and 30 thousand rupees jewelry including cash was stolen from the house of Clerk Virendra Thakur.
