Thief who dodged police arrested

Balodabazar. The accused, who had been absconding by dodging the police for six months, was finally caught by Kotwali police station in-charge Ajay Jha and his team and sent to jail. The incident is said to have happened about six months ago.

Police station in-charge Ajay Jha said that six months ago, gold and silver jewelery was stolen from Bharat Jewelery Shop in Baloda Bazaar. The police had recovered the stolen goods, but the accused was absconding. The accused was arrested by the police after getting information about whom the police was continuously searching. The accused is Kanne alias Karan, a resident of Bhainsapsara, who was sent to jail.
