There is nothing wrong in talking about Kannada: Kamal Haasan

Tamil Nadu : Makkal Nidhi Maiyam party leader Kamal Haasan said there was nothing wrong in his speech on Kannada.
As decided earlier, the DMK has reserved a Rajya Sabha seat for Makkal Nidhi Maiyam. Its leader Kamal Haasan is contesting from this seat.
After this, Kamal Haasan met DMK leader and Chief Minister M.K. Stalin at Anna Arivalayam on Friday and talked to him.
After this he told reporters: I met him on the invitation of the Chief Minister. During this meeting, the Chief Minister advised me to prepare to go to the Rajya Sabha. An announcement will be made soon about filing nomination papers.
Even though my voice is being heard in the Rajya Sabha for the first time, I have been raising my voice for Tamil Nadu continuously.
I will not apologize: There is no need to apologize for saying that Kannada was born from Tamil. There is nothing wrong in that statement. The issue is being politicized. My love will be understood by the people of Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Kerala.
He said, “I have already faced many threats. This is a democratic country. I have faith in the law.”
Responding to a question by reporters, “Why are you supporting the DMK even though you opposed the DMK when the party was formed?”, Kamal Haasan said, “The country needs it, so I have come here.”
