Theft of lakhs revealed in Birgaon, three including juvenile arrested

Raipur. Three accused have been arrested in the Birgaon theft case. According to the information, Sundar Nagar Birgaon, a resident of Bise Kumar Bervansh, lodged a report in the police station Urla that on June 23, he had gone to his in-laws’ house, Bagbahra Sondadar, to pick up his wife and child. From there, the applicant reached Raipur home with his family on 25.06.2023 at around 10.00 am, when he saw that the skylight of the house was broken. The almirah was also broken and the belongings were scattered. 03 pieces of gold and silver jewelery kept in the cupboard, 01 pair of child bracelet, 02 pair of leg bandage, and 03 pieces of gold locket, 01 pair of gold tops, 01 piece of fully valuable was about Rs 80,000/-, no unknown thief The said goods were stolen by On which an offense under U.P.Cr.246/23 Section 457,380 Bhadvi was registered against the unknown accused in Police Station Urla and taken into consideration.

Taking the incident of theft seriously by Senior Superintendent of Police Prashant Agarwal, Additional Superintendent of Police City/Crime Abhishek Maheshwari, City Superintendent of Police Urla Avinash Mishra and station in-charge Urla were directed to arrest the unknown accused as soon as possible. On which, under the direction of senior officers, the police team of Urla police station started tracing the unknown accused by making detailed inquiries from the applicant and the people around the incident. While continuously analyzing other evidence received by Urla police around the incident site, the team members got some important information regarding the person involved in the incident. On which the team members brought 02 accused and 01 child struggling with the law to the police station for questioning. On in-depth enquiry, all three accepted to carry out the said incident of theft. On which the accused were arrested and stolen from their possession 03 pieces of nettles, 01 pair of child bracelet, 02 pair of leg bandage, and 03 pieces of gold locket, 01 pair of gold tops, 01 piece of fully valuable approximately Rs 80,000/- were recovered. Action was taken against all three.

The accused/criminals have been detained in jail from Urla police station in the past also in the case of theft.
