Theft in Patwari house revealed, gang of 7 members caught by police

Balodabazar. Police have arrested 7 vicious members of a theft gang. After the arrest of the accused, police have unearthed 4 cases of serial theft that took place in Balodabazar Nagar and Village Munda. Last Friday, the police had arrested 9 vicious members of the same gang and sent them to jail.

All the 25 to 35 year old members of this vicious thief gang are residents of Balodabazar and surrounding villages. These thieves used to roam around in the colonies of the city all day long to steal. Since he was a local resident, people did not even suspect him. The same gang had committed theft worth lakhs of rupees in Village Munda, Samriddhi Colony, Civil Line and Srishti Colony Balodabazar. A total of Rs 1 lakh 30 thousand in cash and 5 tola gold and stolen cash worth Rs 4 lakh 30 thousand have been recovered from the accused. 2 motorcycles and 4 mobiles have also been seized from the accused.

Let us tell you that on December 17, 2023, Danish Kumar Dhruv Patwari, resident of Civil Line Balodabazar, lodged a report that on December 16, an unknown thief had stolen the cash and gold and silver jewelery worth Rs 1 lakh 20,000 from his house.
