The watchman himself got burnt in the fire lit to warm his hands

Gurgaon. A tragic accident took place this morning in village Palda under Badshahpur police station area. The hut was set on fire due to the fire set to warm the hands, in which the sleeping watchman was burnt alive. When the police got information about this at around 8 in the morning, Badshahpur police station reached the spot and started investigation.

The police station in-charge said that initially the cause of the fire was a fire lit to warm hands, the spark of which might have caused the fire. Forensic team has been called to the spot. The real reasons behind the incident will be known only after investigation. At present the body has been sent for post-mortem. The case is being investigated. Further action will be taken after the facts emerge in the investigation.

According to the police, the police received information in the morning that a hut in the cricket ground in Badshahpur was in a burnt state in which a sleeping person was also completely burnt. On this the police reached the spot and started investigation. During investigation, it came to light that Mohit, a resident of Badshahpur, had given land on rent to Ajit, a resident of Palda, to build this cricket stadium.

For the maintenance of this stadium, Ajit had hired Kamal (27), a resident of Assam, who lived in a hut on the ground. It is being told that Kamal had lit a fire to save himself from the cold at night. It is believed that a spark from this fire reached the slum and caught fire, causing it to burn. At present, further action will be taken only after investigation of the matter.
