The son-in-law poured kerosene and set the house on fire: After the daughter-in-law, the son also left

Odisha: Jahalad’s father Govardhan Raut has been arrested by the police. The incident took place last Saturday in Barsinga village under Barang police station in Cuttack district. Last Saturday, Govardhan asked his son Dinbandhu for money. Dinbandhu then refused to give money. And in anger, Govardhan brought kerosene from home and poured it over Dinbandhu. Later, he set them on fire. Seeing the house burning, his wife came running.

She tried to save her husband. He also got burnt. Both were rescued in critical condition and admitted to Cuttack General Hospital. Dinbandhu’s wife died during treatment on Sunday, while her husband died early today. Police arrested Govardhan on Wednesday and are investigating the incident. Dinbandhu has a 4-year-old son.
