The seat of the overhead tank of Sanjay Nagar was cleaned
Raipur. Today, as per the orders of Raipur District Collector and Municipal Corporation Administrator Dr. Gaurav Kumar Singh and as per the instructions of Municipal Corporation Commissioner Mr. Abinash Mishra, the Water Works Department of Municipal Corporation Raipur got the silt cleaning work of Sanjay Nagar’s 3500 kilolitre capacity overhead tank done on a campaign basis. After regular water supply in the morning in the overhead tank of Sanjay Nagar, while cleaning the overhead tank, along with cleaning the silt, chemical treatment, cleaning of all the chambers and painting were also done.
It is worth mentioning here that for this work, Satguru Agency and Safe Clean Agency have been contracted by the Water Works Department of Raipur Municipal Corporation for silt cleaning of the overhead tank under the procedure as per rules.
The work of cleaning the silt in the overhead tank of Sanjay Nagar was started today at 9 am through the contracted agency and completed by 2 pm. On 22 February 2025, the silt of the 3500 kilolitre capacity Gudhiyari overhead tank will be cleaned by the Water Works Department of Municipal Corporation Raipur after the regular morning water supply.
