The safety of Indians in Gulf countries must be ensured: Anbumani Ramadoss

Tamil Nadu: As the war between Iran and Israel intensifies, PMK leader Anbumani Ramadoss has stressed the need to ensure the safety of Indians in Gulf countries.

He issued a statement regarding this: The combined forces of the US and Israel are attacking Iranian bases in the Middle East. Now, as this is spreading to Gulf countries, there are fears for the safety of Indians living there.

In response to the US attack, Iran is carrying out retaliatory attacks on Gulf countries, including Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Dubai. It is reported that 10 million Indians live in the Gulf countries, 4 million in the United Arab Emirates, and 2.8 million in Saudi Arabia. Tamils constitute a significant number of these.

Therefore, given the serious threat to the safety of Indians, including Tamils, living in Gulf countries, the Indian government should take action and urge the relevant countries to ensure their safety.

Ambumani Ramadoss has said that India, the world’s largest democracy, should try to persuade the countries involved in the war to leave it.
