The Republic Day ceremony will be held at Pandit Chakrapani Shukla High School ground.

Balodabazar. Republic Day will be celebrated with great joy and enthusiasm in the district on January 26, 2026. The district-level ceremony will be held at the Pandit Chakrapani Shukla Swami Atmanand Government Excellence Higher Secondary School grounds in Balodabazar, the district headquarters. A meeting chaired by Collector Deepak Soni was held on Tuesday to finalize the arrangements for the dignified conduct of the ceremony. Officials were assigned responsibilities for various tasks.
Instructions were given to ensure all necessary arrangements, including seating arrangements, keeping in mind the weather and security. School students will present cultural programs on Republic Day. Government departments will also showcase attractive tableaux depicting their flagship schemes. Detailed guidelines have been issued to all concerned officials for this purpose. The main Republic Day ceremony will begin at 9:00 AM at the Pandit Chakrapani Shukla High School grounds. The chief guest will hoist the national flag and take the salute of the parade. Flag hoisting will be completed at all government and non-government offices before this.
On this occasion, impressive march pasts will be performed by contingents of the District Police, paramilitary forces, Home Guard, and NCC. Officers and employees who have performed their duties exceptionally well in government service will be honored by the chief guest from the stage. Office heads have been asked to submit the names and a brief description of the work of these individuals. The final rehearsal of the entire program will be held on January 24th at 9:00 AM at the school grounds. Responsibilities for cleanliness of the ceremony venue, barricading, tents, stage and sound system, water arrangements, seating arrangements, peace and traffic management, march past parade, medical arrangements, etc., have been assigned to the concerned officials.
