The Chief Minister said that UP has changed. Six years ago it was identified with riots and anarchy. This year, when riots were taking place in some states of the country on Ram Navami, there was peace in Uttar Pradesh. 33 lakh people reached Ayodhya, the birthplace of Lord Shri Ram, and not even a straw moved. More than one thousand processions were taken out in the state on Ram Navami. Hindu-Muslim were showering flowers on them. On April 6, on Hanumat Jayanti, more than 500 processions were taken out peacefully in the state. The CM said that now there is a shower of flowers instead of bombs on the festivals in UP.

CM Yogi said that 25 crore people of Uttar Pradesh do not believe in riots but in the double engine government which promotes development, investment and employment. He said that it is because of this belief that Uttar Pradesh has received investment proposals worth about Rs 35 lakh crore in the Global Investors Summit. The Chief Minister’s Office itself monitors all the online facilities and incentives for the investors.

The Chief Minister said that Uttar Pradesh now has excellent connectivity in every way. By the time this industry is ready, the Gorakhpur Link Expressway will also be completed. Purvanchal and Bundelkhand Expressway has started. Work is going on on Ganga Expressway. Four-lane connectivity has been provided till Nepal, Bihar, Uttarakhand, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand.
