The only policy is to defeat the BJP – M. Veerapandian

Tamil Nadu: Communist Party of India (CPI) State Secretary M. Veerapandian said that all the DMK-led alliance parties have come together behind a common policy to defeat the BJP.
He told reporters in Vellore on Thursday: “The entire state of Tamil Nadu is in turmoil, hoping for the victory of the DMK-led Secular Progressive Alliance. Chief Minister M.K. Stalin’s slogan, ‘Tamil Nadu will win,’ is not just a slogan. It is a deep political initiative to protect the state’s rights, democracy, and secularism.
On the other hand, the central government led by Prime Minister Modi is concentrating power and eliminating diversity. The BJP is practicing anti-democratic politics by creating dual rule in states through governors and freezing welfare schemes and funds of opposing state governments. Therefore, this is not an election of political parties, but an election that democracy must win.”
The Election Commission has completely fallen into the BJP’s political circle. The Election Commission, which does not replace officials in BJP-ruled states like Assam, Bihar, and Odisha, and only continuously replaces police and government officials in states like Tamil Nadu and Kerala who are against BJP policies, is a direct attack on democracy. Edappadi Palaniswami is speaking from a political apathy. Criticizing people in this manner is unacceptable.
All parties in the DMK alliance have united behind a common policy of defeating the BJP.
The people will teach a lesson in this election to the BJP, which is trying to destroy the culture of harmony among Tamil people living together irrespective of caste and religion, and to the AIADMK, which is in alliance with them. He said that the DMK-led alliance will win a landslide victory.
