Kawardha. Last night, miscreants broke into the car parked outside the house of former State Vice President of Youth Congress Akash Kesarwani and ran away with Rs 25,000 in cash. Kota MLA and Kawardha in-charge Atal Srivastava lodged a police report on the matter and termed it a political conspiracy.
Kota MLA and Kawardha in-charge Atal Srivastava along with a Congress worker lodged a complaint of vandalism and theft of the Congress leader’s car at the city police station. During this, Atal Srivastava said that late last night, two youths had entered the house of the former District President of Youth Congress for theft. The car was vandalized and 25 thousand cash kept in it was taken away. The entire incident is captured in CC TV camera.
He said that when the Congress leader chased away the miscreants, they started abusing and ran away saying that they will see if he becomes a big Congress leader. It seems that this incident is a political conspiracy, because the miscreants who carried out the incident were wearing masks. In this case, CT Kotwali in-charge Lalji Sinha said that a complaint has been received about vandalism in the Congress leader’s car. CCTV footage is being scrutinized in the case, the accused will be caught soon.
